Solenoidal & Toroidal Windings
Axial fields are parallel to each other. Radial
fields diverge from a point in all
directions. The geomagnetic field is an axial field
and the magnetic field across
the gap in a loudspeaker is radial. Solenoidal
windings in a radial field will
translate forward
and backward. Toroidal windings in an axial field will also
translate.
Review of all the resources acquired over the years
confirm loudspeaker
behavior, but can not confirm or deny toroidal
windings translating in an axial
field. Only the experimental evidence shows
toroidal windings translating in an
axial field. This is the bedrock of geomagnetic
propulsion...The review is ongoing.
